Crispim ACampos

He became a self-taught painter in 1992 on the occasion of his Master's degree at the State University of Campinas UNICAMP - although he always scribbled on bread papers, wrapping papers or any papers that appeared during his childhood and adolescence. During this period, he met Thomaz Perina, Mario Bueno and Wanderley Zalochi with whom he learned a lot and for whom he has great friendship and gratitude.

Over the years, he continues in the exercise of becoming a painter because, after all, "we eagerly need colors and shapes to color our lives and our reality".

His works are present in the collections of the University of Leeds in England, Fresco in the Art Museum Al'aperto de Mesenzana Mortiglienco-Vercelli - Italy, Galeria Crissay-Sur-Manse - France, Museum of Contemporary Art of Campinas - MACC, State University of Campinas - UNICAMP, Federal University of São Carlos - UFSCar and Federal University of Goiás - UFG.

Crispim Antonio Campos has Post-Doctorate in Sociology from the University of Leeds - England and in Social Policy from the University of Brasília - UnB, Doctorate in Social Psychology from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo - PUC / SP, under the guidance of Profa. Dr. Mary Jane Paris Spink; Master in Education from the State University of Campinas - UNICAMP, under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Joaquim Brasil Fontes Junior; Bachelor in Psychology from the Pontifical Catholic University of Campinas - PUC / Campinas.

He is currently a professor in the Department of the Faculty of Medicine of the Federal University of São Carlos - UFSCar.

He was a psychotherapist for more than twenty years, a member of the Board of the Down Syndrome Foundation - Campinas; Researcher at the Mental Health Group of the Faculty of Medical Sciences at the Department of Preventive and Social Medicine at the State University of Campinas - UNICAMP and at GEMEC - Study Groups on Memory, Education and Culture, at the UNICAMP Memory Center.
